The Bible tells us that God is a rewarded of them that diligently seek Him. Ask yourself this question, What does that mean for me? What would it look like if I were diligently seeking after God? What would I set aside to seek for more of him? What would I turn upside down in my life in order for more of Him? What lengths am I willing to go to in order to find more of God?
Have you ever watched someone looking for something that was very important to them? They will look for the longest time, they'll pick things up, they'll move things out of the way, rearrange furniture, turn things upside down. They may sit down for a few minutes are move onto to something else but before long they will be right back at looking for it. Why? Because it is important to them, it has consumed them.
We need to become consumed with seeking after God. We need to get to the place, that we can't really sit down or do much of anything without being consumed by the need to have more of His Word, to spend more time in his presence. We need to develop a hunger and a thirst for more of God!!! The Bible tells us also, that Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after Righteousness.
We also read in the Bible that if we will draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. God desires a deeper relationship with you, what are you willing to do to have a deeper relationship with him? What are you willing to push aside? What are you willing to rearrange in your life? How long are you willing to seek after Him? Are you consumed with wanting more of Him? God is relentlessly pursuing after you, He wants to have a relationship with you! Surrender to his drawing and become consumed with seeking after Him, after all the reward is eternal!!
